We carry two rail lengths and two bracket kits for exactly the reason above: one setup for the current standard double-wide opening, and one for the narrower single-car doors that are still common on the 1948-vintage housing stock around Holyoke. We don't guess at this on-site and then drive back for the right part - both go out on the truck for any Holyoke call. On the opener side, we stock units rated for the cold-severe climate band this whole area sits in, with cold-tolerant lift mechanisms and gearing that doesn't get brittle and strip in a January cold snap the way a bargain-shelf unit can. We also carry the battery backup units as an option, since power blips during winter storms aren't rare here. What we don't carry as a stock item is anything custom-width beyond the two standard bracket kits - if your opening is genuinely nonstandard, that's a special order and we'll say so on the call, not after we've already made the trip.
